Exclusive: Honda Elevate Facelift Weeks Away From Launch

Honda has been hard at work on the Elevate facelift, with numerous test mule sightings both in India and abroad. Sources indicate that the updated Honda Elevate is nearly ready for production and will soon be launched in our market. According to recent reports, expect to see the new model on roads by the end of September or early October.
Based on spy images and videos, here’s what we can anticipate:
- Exterior: A revised front grille, updated headlamps, and a tweaked bumper will be among the cosmetic changes. LED headlamps and fog lamps remain standard. The SUV will continue to sport boxy lines with new alloy wheels and potential LED tail lamps. A connecting LED bar might make an appearance.
- Interior: While retaining its overall layout, the cabin is expected to receive updated styling, potentially including a new colour theme and features like seat ventilation, a 360-degree camera, and a revised infotainment system resembling that of the City sedan.
- Safety: The Elevate facelift will continue to offer robust safety features such as Honda Sensing (ADAS), six airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, and more.
- Engine & Transmission: Powering the Elevate will remain a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. Manual and CVT gearbox options will be available.
Initially launched in 2023, the Elevate was planned to receive an EV and hybrid variant but both have been delayed. With minor tweaks and updates, Honda aims to maintain its competitive edge against rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun at a similar price point.
